Webinar: The Theory of No Change: Evaluating mitigation projects in sectoral contexts

Dr. Christine Woerlen presented the Theory of No Change hosted by the Climate-Eval moderation team.

The webinar focused on the evaluation of mitigation projects in sectoral contexts as part of the meta-evaluation of mitigation study Dr. Woerlen is conducting. The preliminary findings of the study identified barriers to adopting sustainable energy options. From these barriers, Dr. Woerlen developed a project and barrier visualization tool (available here) to assist policy-makers in identifying and addressing gaps when designing sustainable energy policies. A Thailand Case Study was also presented to test and demonstrate the usefulness of the tool.

Participants were given the opportunity to raise questions and provide feedback after the presentation.
